It is not our role to inquire why anybody comes, just to make sure that they receive a hot meal and some company at no cost to themselves. All our visitors really appreciate what is being done.
This project would not be possible without the small band of volunteers from various churches who come on a roster basis to cook, help and talk to the guests. (Commitment is about once a month).
Thanks to donations from members of the congregation of North, we are not only able to fund the purchase of food for Thursday meals, but also to provide food parcels for the hungry who come to the church at other times. These folk know that the North Church will try to satisfy their physical as well as their spiritual hunger.
We are blessed by the opportunity to help God's people in this way.
