Boys Brigade
The Boys' Brigade is the UK's No. 1 Youth Organisation. Each week The Boys' Brigade works with thousands of young people, many of whom have no other connection with the Church. The Boys' brigade care for and challenge young people for life through a programme of informal education underpinned by the Christian faith.
On 4th October 2008 The Boys' Brigade celebrated its 125th Anniversary since the founding of the very first Company in Glasgow. Activities and events were held on this day and continue to be held over the course of the session across the United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland to celebrate.
The Company works from a Christian ethos in partnership with the North Church and is open to boys of all backgrounds and abilities. The Company is split into three age groups to provide a range of positive experiences for boys and young men and would invite any Primary 2 to Secondary 6 boys to come along on a Friday night.
If you are a boy (Primary 2 – Secondary 6) that would like to join, an Adult that would be willing to help with the work of the Boys’ Brigade or wish any further information please contact Mr Kenny Simpson(Captain) via the Church Office.
