Blythswood Care combines the Christian message with practical help for those in need at home and abroad. Whether through filled shoeboxes at Christmas, relief and development aid or social projects for young and old, we bring hope to thousands in Europe, Africa and Asia.
We are a Christian Charity helping people in need locally and globally, regardless of political or religious beliefs or ethnic origins.
The Perth Support Group fund raise at a local level and focus on their main activity of help co-ordinate filled Christmas Shoe Boxes.
Shoe-Box Appeal 2018
Thank you to everybody that supported last year’s appeal with 4,043 boxes sent from Perth to help the poor people in Romania.
The Support Group started organising a local collection and Custom Checking in 2001 since then nearly 80,000 gift filled shoe boxes have been sent from Perth to Romania.
There will be more about a limited appeal in 2018, later in the year.

Blythswood would welcome donations of clothes, shoes, books, toys, blankets, bric a brac and small items of furniture when the collection truck comes to McDiarmid Parkcar park between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
Please note soft furnishing must have a BS7177 fire label attached. Blythswood regret that we cannot accept prams, pushchairs, highchairs, car seats, bikes, carpets, duvets, coat hangers, gas appliances, televisions, computer monitors, exercise equipment, wall units, electrical items and video cassettes.
Knitting - Please bring only hats, scarves and gloves - thanks to all the ladies that have been using their time and talents knitting hats, scarves, gloves & garments for the shoebox appeal.
