FOODBANK
PERTH & KINROSS FOODBANK
Perth and Kinross Foodbank exists for those in need of emergency support in times of crisis.
The Foodbank was established, in conjunction with the Trussell Trust, in 2013, by local churches including Perth North.
Various local agencies issue vouchers which can be exchanged for food at the Foodbank. Perth North is one such agency.
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
The North Church is one of the agencies referring people in crisis to the foodbank, and there is a collection point in the church hall for non-perishable food donations. The Foodbank is in Cutlog Vennel, Perth (behind Starbucks) and there is also a branch in Blairgowrie.
